Toyota 105 Series Landcruiser 1HD-FTE Conversion Wiring Harness

$880.00

We have developed these harnesses for our own use when doing FTE engine swaps to simplify the wiring side of things and are suited to early manual transmission (or those with standalone auto computer) swaps. The way we do it, isn’t the only way, but the one that make most sense to us.

For the early model 105 (pre mid 2002) these come with a harness that connects into the factory fuse box so that fuses and relays in there can be (instead of taking feeds and mounting relays in the glovebox space).

We want to have

  • FTE engine with electronic pump fitted

  • the engine harness from an HDJ100

  • alternator harness from HDJ100 or HZJ105

  • HDJ100 starter motor loom, which also has connection from engine harness to side of fuse box (for starter activation and injection pump control)

  • generally we don’t dash or engine bay harnesses.

Also comes with the harness that runs across the dash so no need to strip the original dash harness and only need to remove the glovebox, radio and climate control components, then panels under the steering column.

If you have a FZJ105 then the immobiliser can be used for the HDJ100 ECU and the tachometer signal is the same.

If you are installing into the HZJ105 then a tachometer adjuster needs to be installed and the immobiliser will not work and you need to either

  1. Use a ECU without an immobiliser (HDJ79 or some import HDJ100)

  2. Install the key and immobiliser from the donor vehicle and correctly wire in - we can provide information to do this with the above purchase. If the same generation as the donor then you can reprogram the original keys to function the immobiliser.

  3. Have an immobiliser delete done to the ECU.

If you have a late (post mid 2002) model HZJ105 want to connect the relays into the fuse box, this is possible, but (to get the connectors) its best to find a late model HDJ100 engine bay loom.
